Software Needed to Webcast

There are several free and paid options for getting your webcast on the Internet.  Here are several and there are probably more available.  If you find another please let me know so I can share it with others!
Adobe has a free program that works great for webcasting.  It's called Flash Media Live Encoder.  You have two video sources and it's possible to control Audio separately.
NCH Software's entry into webcasting is free under certain provisions.  You are limited to five viewers and you must install the ASK Toolbar.  Another way to use it free is to provide a link to their website on your website.

On a happier note, the software only cost about $70 for educational use.  Well worth the price for unlimited viewers and no pesky toolbar!

This software also makes it easy to record your boradcasts and make them available for future viewing without a lot of fuss.
vMix has the ability to include several Audio and Video sources for a better quality webcast.  Several transition effects are also easily at your fingertips.

This is another totally free software that is really great!
The Datavideo SE-500 Video Switcher is more like the traditional television switcher that you may be using already for your closed circuit broadcast.  If you have one already it can possibly be adapted to run your new webcast, but if you don't have one and want one, this is the cheapest I've found of late at $960.
